The 'Hoopster Of The Week'
for this week
goes to:
the Big Black Lady, 6-1, 180, who started out
strong winning WNBA Rookie of the Year
after being on the NCAA Championship team
in 2016, and 2x ACC Player of the Year, and
a 5x All-Star Gamer, plus she was the Unrivaled
MVP in 2025, and for 2024 she was the
Defensive Player of the Year, while winning
Championships in EuroLeague, Turkey,
Europe SuperCup, plus Gold in China's
Youth Olympic Games, and is a founder
of the Unrivaled League,
and so much more...
Black Basketball History Month was
founded by Ralph Winge, D.D.S.
in 2025 to acknowledge, praise,
and hold high, with cheer, the untold
numbers of International Black Men
and Women, both past and present,
that made us go, "Wow!...Whoa!...
...and...OMGosh!" in their nonstop,
valiant, and always surprising,
individual and team
efforts to put the ball through the
hoop the most, to win games and
championships!
