the Big Black Man, 6-11,255 pound Power 

Forward/Center who won $ NBA 

Championships and Rings, and was the 

first player in NBA history to win 

Championships with 3different teams, 

and the first NBA player to win 

Championships in 3 different decades, 

plus he was a long-time host of the 

former Fox Sports Net show The Best 

Damn Sports Show Period, plus he was 

well known, even in college, for his 

shot-blocking abilities, 

with some highlights here,

Black Basketball History Month!... Hoopster Of The Week!...Shawn Kemp!

  

The 'Hoopster Of The Week'

for this week 

goes to: 

the Big Black Man, a 6-10, 280 Power 

forward /center who was a 6× NBA All-Star 

(1993–1998), and helped the United States 

win a FIBA World Championship Gold 

medal in 1994, plus he has a nickname 

'Reignman' and is widely regarded as 

one of the best slam dunkers of all time, 

while being a part of the famous pick 

and roll duo with Hall of Fame teammate 

Gary Payton, and now is a businessman, 

with some highlights here, 

and so much more..

Black Basketball History Month!... Hoopster Of The Week!...Ben Wilson!

  

The 'Hoopster Of The Week'

for this week 

goes to: 

the Big Black Man, a 6-8, 190 pound 

guard/forward who was regarded as the 

top high school player in the U.S. by scouts 

and coaches attending the 1984 Athletes 

For Better Education basketball camp and 

the first Chicago athlete to receive this 

distinction, but he was shot and killed the 

day before he was to appear for the camp, 

and he was described as "Magic 

Johnson with a jump shot," 

with some highlights here,

but we still give flowers and say the name of...


...Ben Wilson!

known by many kids on the playground as 

'The Big O,' who won a NBA Championship 

and Ring in 1971 with the Bucks, and was a 

League MVP in 1964, a 12x All Star Gamer, 

a NBA Rookie of the Year, a 3x College 

Player of the Year, one of three players to 

average a triple double for a season, a 

President of the National Basketball Players 

Association, a 2x inductee to the NBA HOF 

(1980 and 2010), a 6x season NBA assist 

leader, a Mr. USA Basketball and a Mr. 

Indiana Basketball, both in 1956,
