The 'Hoopster Of The Week'

for this week 

goes to: 

the Big Black Man, 7-0, 255, who was hard 

to defend and impossible to block, and he 

was a 2x NBA Champion while being the 

MVP for both of those finals, plus he was 

the league MVP  in '94, while being a 12x 

All-Star Gamer, and a 2x leader in 

rebounding and in shot blocking, plus he 

tore up the college ranks, and also 

helped win Olympic Gold,

and so much more...

Black Basketball History Month!... Hoopster Of The Week!...Meadowlark Lemon!

  


The 'Hoopster Of The Week'

for this week 

goes to: 

the Big Black Man, 6-3, 200, who is 

universally known 'Clown Prince' of 

Basketball, and toured internationally 

for Goodwill throughout sports 

entertainment, and, described as a 

'true national treasure, by Michael Jordan, 

he was praised by Wilt Chamberlain and others, 

also he played for the Harlem Globetrotters, 

then started another fun team called the 

'Bucketeers,' then he played with the 

'Shooting Stars,' then with his team, 

'Meadowlark Lemon's Harlem All Stars,' 

then he returned to the Globetrotters, 

and after a while he retired, he then 

became a Hall of Famer in 2003, but 

more importantly, he became an ordained 

minister in 1986 and started Meadowlark 

Lemon Ministries in 1994, 

and so much more...

Black Basketball History Month!... Hoopster Of The Week!...Nate Thurman!

  


The 'Hoopster Of The Week'

for this week 

goes to: 

the Big Black Man, 6-11, 225, who is the first 

player in history, and one of only four, to achieve a 

quadruple-double, 22 points, 14 rebounds, 

13 assists, 12 blocked shots,  and in 

another game he had 18 rebounds 

in one quarter, while scoring almost 

15,000 career points and grabbing almost 15,000 

career rebounds, and the center and power forward 

was named one of the 50 Greatest Players in 

NBA History, and once grabbed 42 

rebounds in one game, plus he was 

'swished' into the HOF in 1985,

and so much more...

Black Basketball History Month!... Hoopster Of The Week!...Maya Moore-Irons!

  


The 'Hoopster Of The Week'

for this week 

goes to: 

the Big Black Lady, 6-0 175, who was 

named the 'Greatest Winner in the History 

of Women's Basketball' by Sports 

Illustrated, and yes, she has been a 

competitive winner her whole life, 

in high school she was the all-consensus 

best player in the whole nation and had a 

4.0 GPA, and a 5A high school high

 jump Champ, and then she won 

back-to-back college championships 

at UConn in 2009 and 2010, netting a 

multi-shoe contract over the years with 

Air Jordan, then, in the WNBA she was 

Rookie of the Year, WNBA scoring 

leader, steals leader, WNBA Season and 

Finals MVP, and a 4x WNBA Champion, 

plus multi WNBA All-Star gamer, then, 

at the height of her game, she moved on 

with her life to be a Strong Social Activist, 

who could be President someday, 

and way so much more...
