The 'Hoopster Of The Week'
for this week
goes to:
the Big Black Lady, 6-0 175, who was
named the 'Greatest Winner in the History
of Women's Basketball' by Sports
Illustrated, and yes, she has been a
competitive winner her whole life,
in high school she was the all-consensus
best player in the whole nation and had a
4.0 GPA, and a 5A high school high
jump Champ, and then she won
back-to-back college championships
at UConn in 2009 and 2010, netting a
multi-shoe contract over the years with
Air Jordan, then, in the WNBA she was
Rookie of the Year, WNBA scoring
leader, steals leader, WNBA Season and
Finals MVP, and a 4x WNBA Champion,
plus multi WNBA All-Star gamer, then,
at the height of her game, she moved on
with her life to be a Strong Social Activist,
who could be President someday,
and way so much more...
Black Basketball History Month was
founded by Ralph Winge, D.D.S.
in 2025 to acknowledge, praise,
and hold high, with cheer, the untold
numbers of International Black Men
and Women, both past and present,
that made us go, "Wow!...Whoa!...
...and...OMGosh!" in their nonstop,
valiant, and always surprising,
individual and team
efforts to put the ball through the
hoop the most, to win games and
championships!
