The 'Hoopster Of The Week'
for this week
goes to:
the Big Black Man, 6-11, 225, who is the first
player in history, and one of only four, to achieve a
quadruple-double, 22 points, 14 rebounds,
13 assists, 12 blocked shots, and in
another game he had 18 rebounds
in one quarter, while scoring almost
15,000 career points and grabbing almost 15,000
career rebounds, and the center and power forward
was named one of the 50 Greatest Players in
NBA History, and once grabbed 42
rebounds in one game, plus he was
'swished' into the HOF in 1985,
and so much more...
Black Basketball History Month was
founded by Ralph Winge, D.D.S.
in 2025 to acknowledge, praise,
and hold high, with cheer, the untold
numbers of International Black Men
and Women, both past and present,
that made us go, "Wow!...Whoa!...
...and...OMGosh!" in their nonstop,
valiant, and always surprising,
individual and team
efforts to put the ball through the
hoop the most, to win games and
championships!
