The 'Hoopster Of The Week'
for this week
goes to:
the Big Black Lady 6-2, 179, 5-star recruit who
has won so many awards it will take an hour
to mention them all, but she started out as the
number 1 player in the nation as a senior in
high school, the kept on a tear at USC, being
the Freshman of the Year, while scoring a
Freshman Scoring Record and breaking
Lisa Leslie's record, plus she bested Cheryl
Miller's most 30-point games record, and she
won gold medals and MVP awards in FIBA
International play, and the Times, the Daily
News, and SportsKids of Sports Illustrated
had her as the Player of the Year and a Ms.
Basketball Gatorade Player of the Year,
along with McDonalds and Nike, and her
freshman and sophomore year play garnered
her tons of shooting guard and scoring awards,
and she is now rehabbing to ge back
on track for her senior year on the court,
and so much more...

Black Basketball History Month,
celebrated in October each year, was
founded by Ralph C. Winge, D.D.S.
in 2025 to acknowledge, praise,
and hold high, with cheer, the untold
numbers of International Black Men
and Women, both past and present,
that made us go, "Wow!...Whoa!...
...and...OMGosh!" in their nonstop,
valiant, and always surprising,
individual and team
efforts to put the ball through the
hoop the most, to win games and
championships!
