The 'Hoopster Of The Week'
for this week
goes to:
the Big Black Lady, 6-6, 219, who was a
Winning Center, even when she first laced
up in elementary school, and she tore up the
place at LSU, then on the Pro court she was
an All-Star gamer 8x, 4x Defensive Player
of the year, 8x Defensive first team, and
won two WNBA Championships with the
Lynx, being Finals MVP for both times,
and is the career rebounding record holder,
plus she was at the top in the European
Leagues, and she could dunk the ball,
and so much more...

Black Basketball History Month was
founded by Ralph Winge, D.D.S.
in 2025 to acknowledge, praise,
and hold high, with cheer, the untold
numbers of International Black Men
and Women, both past and present,
that made us go, "Wow!...Whoa!...
...and...OMGosh!" in their nonstop,
valiant, and always surprising,
individual and team
efforts to put the ball through the
hoop the most, to win games and
championships!
